The Blood Type Diet, developed by Dr. Peter D'Adamo, is a nutritional approach that suggests tailoring one's diet based on their blood type. According to this theory, different blood types evolved at different times and in different geographic locations, leading to distinct dietary needs.

For individuals with Type O blood, a primarily meat-based diet is recommended, emphasizing lean proteins and vegetables while avoiding dairy and grains. Those with Type A blood are encouraged to adopt a more plant-based diet, rich in vegetables, fruits, and grains, while avoiding red meat. Type B individuals are advised to incorporate a balanced diet with a variety of foods, including meat, dairy, and vegetables, while Type AB individuals are encouraged to combine elements of both Type A and Type B diets.

It's essential to consult with a healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes based solely on blood type recommendations.
