ACE Score

According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), ACEs or Adverse Childhood Experiences is a score of different types of abuse and neglect between the ages of 0-17. These experiences are linked to chronic health problems, mental illness, and substance abuse in adulthood. ACEs can also negatively impact education and job opportunities. However, ACEs can be prevented.
