Who cannot safely receive EBOO?

Patients with blood coagulation disorders, bleeding organs, thrombocytopenia (low platelets), hemorrhagic or apoplectic stroke, recent MI (heart attack), alcohol intoxication, G-6PD deficiency, uncontrolled hyperthyroidism, leukemia, first trimester pregnancy, photosensitivity, sulfa drugs, patients with allergies to heparin or other anticoagulants are not recommended candidates.
