What kinds of treatment do NDs use?

NDs choose treatments that address the root cause of illness, and support the entire patient - mind, body, and spirit. Your treatment plan could include dietary changes, supplementation (nutritional, herbal, or homeopathic), counseling, intravenous therapies, injection therapies, joint or soft tissue mobilization, acupuncture, or prescription medications. Your ND will discuss your treatment plan with you to ensure you feel comfortable with the plan, and capable of making the changes they propose.
