No, you do not need to see a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine to receive acupuncture. Many of our Naturopathic Doctors also offer acupuncture treatment. However, our Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine utilizes systemic acupuncture treatment at every visit, whereas our Naturopathic Doctors may or may not utilize acupuncture, depending on your health concerns. They rely heavily on a variety of other treatments; when using acupuncture, they may only utilize a select few acupuncture points, combined with various other treatment techniques.
