About
About Iron Infusion Therapy
When iron levels are low, oxygen delivery suffers
Iron deficiency reduces the body’s ability to produce healthy red blood cells, limiting oxygen transport to tissues and contributing to fatigue, weakness, and shortness of breath.
Iron infusion therapy restores iron stores and supports oxygen delivery
By rapidly replenishing iron levels, iron infusion therapy helps improve oxygen transport, support energy production, reduce symptoms of iron deficiency, and enhance overall well-being.

How it Works
How does Iron Infusion Therapy work?
Overview of Iron Infusion Therapy
Iron plays an essential role in helping your body feel energized and well. It is a key part of hemoglobin, the protein in red blood cells that carries oxygen throughout the body. When iron levels are low, oxygen delivery can suffer, often leading to fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, and difficulty keeping up with daily life. Iron infusion therapy helps replenish iron stores efficiently, supporting healthy energy levels, circulation, and overall vitality.
Method of Delivery
Iron infusion therapy is delivered through an intravenous line placed in a vein. This allows iron to be absorbed directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. IV iron is often recommended when oral iron supplements are not effective, not well tolerated, or when iron levels need to be restored more quickly. Your doctor will guide you through the process and determine the best approach based on your lab work, symptoms, and individual health needs.
Health Benefits of Iron Infusion Therapy
By restoring healthy iron levels, many patients notice improvements in energy, stamina, and mental clarity. Iron infusion therapy supports better oxygen delivery throughout the body, which can help reduce fatigue and breathlessness while supporting immune health, cognitive function, and overall well-being. For many, this therapy provides an important foundation for feeling stronger, more resilient, and better able to engage in daily life.
First Visit
What does your first visit look like?
Your first visit is a chance to share your health goals and concerns. As your doctor gathers this important information, they can begin to identify the root causes of what you’re experiencing and work with you to create a personalized treatment plan.
One
Screening and Assessment
Your doctor will complete an iron IV screen reviewing health history, gathering details regarding your current and past health concerns, lifestyle, as well as supplements and medications.
Two
Testing
Recent bloodwork from the past 1-3 months for a Complete Blood Count (CBC) and ferritin levels, as well as Iron/TIBC (Total Iron Binding Capacity) is required to proceed with treatment. Should you not already have test results available, we can support you in ordering the required testing prior to treatment.
