In Their Words
I’ve always been drawn to health-care modalities that acknowledge the body’s innate ability to heal itself – both as a client and as a practitioner. From my early days living in Intentional Communities working with energy healing to my current practice as Advanced NeurOptimal Trainer and Specialized Kinesiologist I’ve been driven by a desire to assist people to facilitate desired change. That change may involve helping someone cultivate a more positive inner emotional terrain, maintain a healthier physical lifestyle or develop increased mental clarity and focus. Using Biofeedback tools such as applied kinesiology and neurofeedback ensures the work is both gentle and specific to the individual.
I became an Advanced Trainer with Three In One Concepts One Brain Kinesiology in 1995 and taught the One Brain System throughout Canada and US for nine years. With further training in Touch For Health, Educational Kinesiology, Body Talk, Energy Psychology and Hypnotherapy I continued my exploration of different modalities. In 2003 I certified as a Wellness Counsellor and Life Coach and taught Physical Wellness in the Rhodes Career College Wellness Counsellor Program.
I joined Integrative Naturopathic Medical Centre in 2005 to provide Meridian Stress Testing, Nutrition and Weight Loss Programs and One Brain Kinesiology. After being sidelined by a motor scooter accident in 2011, I found NeurOptimal Neurofeedback so immediately helpful in my cognitive recovery from a serious concussion that I became an Advanced NeurOptimal Trainer. NeurOptimal Neurofeedback, along with One Brain Kinesiology, continue to be the main modalities I facilitate for others and for myself in my ongoing passion to help people achieve their greatest potential on all levels.
