The less assault to your immune system, the less likely it is to over-react.

Sugar also competes for vitamins C absorption, which is a natural anti-histamine, and dairy causes the build up of excess mucous. Wheat and glutinous grains can aggravate the digestive system and increase your blood sugar, contributing to inflammation. If you are already sensitive to grains, eating them will also aggravate your immune system.
